We are an ambitious, US VC-backed startup building domain-specific AI for the Wealth Management sector. Following the establishment of our core team in Melbourne, we are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical "tip of the spear."

You will embed with top-tier Wealth Management teams, deconstruct their complex workflows, and deploy our agent framework to automate high friction work. You will act as the bridge between the messy reality of the market and our Product Engineering roadmap.

What You Will Do

• Embed & Uncover: Work directly with Wealth Managers and RIAs and Investment Platforms to deeply understand their business logic. You will act as a ‘Technical Detective,’ identifying where their processes are broken and architecting how our agent framework can solve those specific problems.
• Build & Deploy: You are not a spectator. You will write production-grade code (Golang, TypeScript, React) to integrate our AI agents into complex financial technology stacks.
• Influence the Roadmap: You will be the strongest voice in the room during product planning. You will synthesise client feedback into clear technical specifications, ensuring we are building solutions that the market actually needs.
• Rapid Prototyping: Build custom tools to solve immediate client needs, then work with the core team to harden these solutions into the main product.
• Trust & Security: Build deep trust with client CTOs and Security teams by demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of information security and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering Excellence: You are a software engineer first. You have 5+ years of experience and are comfortable traversing the stack. You don't just script; you build robust software.
• Product Intuition: You question the "why." You have a knack for spotting patterns across different clients and generalising them into product features.
• High-Stakes Communication: You are comfortable explaining complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Resilience & Autonomy: As per our Founding culture, you thrive in ambiguity. You can walk into a room where requirements are unclear and data is messy, and figure out a path forward.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership on large-scale systems; financial services experience is a plus.
• Deep expertise in Golang and React.
• Experience with LLMs/Agentic workflows or data integration pipelines.
