About the role

We’re hiring a Regional Solutions Engineer to join our go-to-market team and lead the technical side of customer engagements across the APAC region. You’ll partner with Account Executives to demonstrate how CyberHQ solves high-impact problems, from regulatory compliance and risk oversight to threat modeling and budget justification.

You’ll work across the full sales cycle, from discovery through to pilots and proof-of-value, crafting tailored solutions that connect our technology to customer priorities. This role is critical to shaping the narrative for Informed GRC and elevating conversations from checkbox compliance to strategic decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover technical requirements, risk context, and business drivers.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored solutions using CyberHQ’s capabilities across GRC, threat, and risk.
  • Run live demos that show how CyberHQ automates compliance, simulates attack paths, and quantifies risk.
  • Collaborate with AEs and partners to shape deals, co-present to prospects, and support co-sell motions.
  • Build business cases and value justifications to support decision-makers and procurement processes.
  • Own technical validation processes such as proof-of-value programs and pilot workshops.
  • Capture product feedback and market insights, and feed them directly into the roadmap.
  • Help build playbooks, demo environments, and standard operating procedures as the team scales.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, etc.), ideally in cybersecurity, risk, or GRC.
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, DISP, and GDPR.
  • Familiarity with risk quantification (e.g., FAIR), threat modeling (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), or attack simulation tools.
  • Ability to build trust with CISOs, security leads, and compliance professionals.
  • Strong communicator, able to break down complex concepts in clear, compelling language.
  • Comfortable using sales methodologies like MEDDPICC and applying value-based selling principles.
  • Independent, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in high-velocity environments.
