Ready to Level Up with a Venture-Backed Cybersecurity Startup?
Join Avertro, a venture-backed cybersecurity startup building a platform that empowers security leaders to manage cyber risk with confidence. We’re on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Engineer ready to take ownership, work across the stack, and build products that make a real impact. We’re solving one of the industry’s biggest challenges: turning raw security and business data into clarity for decision-makers. If you're looking for technical autonomy, a collaborative environment, and the chance to help shape product direction, this could be your next big move. ✨The Opportunity
As a Full Stack Engineer at Avertro, you’ll build secure, scalable features across our modern platform. You’ll collaborate closely with our cross-functional team and cybersecurity experts to turn big ideas into polished user experiences. This is a chance to influence not just how we build, but what we build, and grow as a technical leader as we scale. You’ll join us at a critical growth stage, where our platform is live with enterprise customers and focusing on scaling our front-end architecture, enhancing performance, and rapidly delivering new features using React, MUI and Node.js. 🧩What You’ll Do
  • Build, improve and maintain user-facing and backend features with React, Node.js, GraphQL, Material UI, JS, and CSS
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications for elegant, secure, and scalable solutions
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy software solutions.
  • Participate in agile software development process including sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural decisions
  • Write clean and efficient code that is easy to maintain and scale, and help uphold engineering best practices through thoughtful code reviews.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our platform as we tackle new challenges.

🔍 What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience with React, Node.js, GraphQL, Material UI, JS, and CSS.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and version control (e.g. Git)
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving how we build.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a methodical, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Bonus Points
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and application architecture.
  • Experience building security into your software from the ground up.
  • Background in cybersecurity or experience in regulated industries.
  • Previous experience in a startup or scaling product environment.
💥 Why You’ll Love Working With Us
  • Be part of a venture-backed startup solving one of cybersecurity’s biggest gaps.
  • Join a collaborative, high-trust team that values autonomy and curiosity.
  • Flexible working hours as long as you meet your commitments.
  • Competitive package: salary and equity options.
  • Influence the product and strategic direction of the company as one of our early hires.
  • Grow with us: Your career will progress in line with the company’s growth.
  • You’ll work directly with our Lead Engineer, and collaborate with a cross-functional team of security and engineering professionals.
  • We offer team events and offsites and the potential to join our President’s club.
  • Our vibe? We get sh*t done, call it like it is, stay laser-focused on problems worth solving, obsess over our users, and work with good humans only.
