About the role

We’re scaling up, and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to help us fulfill our objective in building the best observability platform for cloud contact centers.

As a full-stack engineer, you will have exposure to all parts of our platform — from collecting telemetry within our browser extension, to building experiences within our web application, and across our data pipelines and backend APIs & services.

We’re a AWS Select Technology Partner — our platforms utilize technologies in the AWS stack including EKS, Lambda, Kinesis, CloudFormation, RDS and S3. We also use a mix of Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker, Flink, Superset, and OpenSearch to deliver Operata at scale.

How you will make an impact

• As a full-stack engineer you will be hands-on in building and maintaining new features in the Operata platform, taking an API-first approach with a focus on scale, security and reliability.
• You will be challenged with uncovering new ways to capture observability data from many new sources and platforms, utilizing client-side data collectors, both in-browser agents and server-side lambdas.
• Understand customer problems and their jobs-to-be-done by collaborating with business and product stakeholders, and work alongside your peers to contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform.
• Each month, you’ll have the opportunity to take a day to hack on something you’re passionate about, whether it’s experimenting with new tooling, improving the developer experience, or even to explore a product idea.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development with strong frontend and backend skills.
• Bachelor Level University qualifications in IT, Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, React, and Go or similar languages. Python, Java, or Scale is a plus.
• Expertise in API development, with a good-level of understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code; Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation / SAM / CDK, or similar .
• Hands-on experience with DevOps best practices, Kubernetes, Container Orchestration, and Serverless infrastructures.
• Proficiency with SQL and DBMs such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redshift, Clickhouse or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD workflow tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, Buildkite Pipelines or AWS Workflows).
• A good understanding of Cloud Security best practices is a bonus.
